5th Anniversary- Reading Embraces the World

Phewwwwwwww.. finally I'm back to my recent life blog post.. not feeling so outdated anymore (for this moment only xD)
So as what I know, its the holiday week for most people out there, and hence, Bookfest@Malaysia 2010 was held on 4/9/2010-12/9/2010 at KL Convention Centre as usual, from 10am to 10pm. Well for those that haven't pay a visit by the time you're looking at my post, you still have 2 days to do so. ;)
Entrance is free for aged 18 years old and below. RM2 and a BookFest Catalogue will be given to you for those not qualified for the FOC entrance, eg me. Although it did came across my mind to pretend as one, but I was going at 10am and I reckon that they'll check on my IC. duh, forget about it! and I wanted that guide book as well so that I can know which books are on special price and so forth. Its very useful when you're planning to buy books and not just for the sake of "visiting", "crowd" and "read for free". =D

The first day that I went for book fest was on Tuesday. Before that I went to Guardian to look for feminine hygiene products. (ermm, you do not need to know about this, haha! but I bet many out there, esp Malaysian females do not care about this). Then, proceed to the book fest. 10am sharp that I went in. Many would choose to enter from Hall 5, instead I will go for Hall 1 first. Hall 1 and Hall 2 were exhibitor for Chinese books, from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Normally, Hall 1 and 2 would not be that crowded compared to Hall 4 and 5 except for the Child's book area. No photos that have been taken to show here, I forgot. :p
There was a main stage for talks at Hall 1. 11am was a talk from 小江, talking about his new book and views on men and women. kinda interested. I think his book title is 男人的秘密，女人勿看. There was plenty of seats since it was pretty early and not much people know about him there was not not much of crowd. I was there partly to rest myself for awhile. hehe.
Later then the crowd started to come in and it was pretty uneasy to move around that freely. As its a Book Fest, I think, its impossible for you to read or browse through each and every book that you're interested in, unless you're not book-lovers or just don't have much books that you're interested in. I myself find it hard to grab every single books that I'm interested in to view, not to mention to buy it and get the most out of it (its just too much!).

Later on, my dear came to find me, and my body is telling me, its time to get some rest. It was about 2pm, and I was still halfway at Hall 2. tee-hee. We both went to food court for our lunch, dear ordered Alfredo Spaghetti for me and Claypot Pan Mee for himself. (turn out that I ate his and he ate mine =p)

Rest for awhile and we were back to Book Fest. He wanted to buy me a bottle that's why he was there. Still, I dragged him around to show him my books-buying-list. haha! Surprisingly we have same taste on books. (is this the word to describe it?)
Until it was about 5pm, then we went out and had a BK cone and rest ourselves. Then, headed back home. (Some funny moments inside the train..well..leave it to us lol)
Tired but satisfied! Gotta sort out my buying list and head back to Book Fest again! :D

The list that I've made.. a total of 53 books! O.O

On Thursday, I was supposed to be prepared at 8.30am, and turned out, woken by dad at 8.30am. dang! I was superb late. Rushed and get out at 8.50am.. Breakfast with my parents at KLCC 4th floor food court, 3 sets of Roti set which consists of a cup of tea/coffee, 2 slices of Roti Bakar with Kaya and butter, and 2 half-boiled eggs at only RM4.50. Extra order by mom, a slice of Roti Canai@RM1.20 and another Chicken Porridge set@RM4.50/set. Breakfast set is only from 8am to 10am. Don't worry if you do not know which stall it is, because there will be queue everytime I visit there and its the only stall serving the breakfast set. :)
My dad and I went to Cyberjaya to fetch my kns sis as she's having her mid-sem break, which means I'm going to see her for a week. Owhhhh... =p
It was about 11pm that we're back to KLCC and went to Book Fest as well. The crowd on this day was alot more compared to Tuesday, though Tuesday was crowded as well, but not the long queues we saw at cashier at Hall 4 on this day.

I was asking my sister to choose books for me, though we both have our liking, but its more likely that if she feels that book is boring, I feel the same. :D Owh and her job of the day was, to take care of the baskets! haha! Why they do not have trolley for us? I saw people having that on Tuesday. (maybe its personal ones)
I was having real dilemma to choose which book to buy when its time to pay. Dang! It was real hard to choose! I really hope dear was with me to choose. =/ 'coz even my sis wish to own them all!


the 2 baskets that we were carrying around..They were people who tried to steal our baskets! haha! funny enough when my sis told me about this.. XD

It was 2pm that we finally make our way to have lunch at Mayking,Jalan Pudu famous for their Lum Mee and handmade fish balls.. Super hungry by that time. I don't know why, but everytime if I walk at crowded place, I feel tired and hungry more easily. So, don't go out on weekends, especially public holidays. haha!

Unwrapped the plastic begs(so not eco-friendly, they should give recycled bag for free when you purchase RM100& above..sigh) and start taking photos! haha!

Abit off topic here.. later that I went to nap after some chit chat with my sis.. I was having this strange "Inception" movie-alike dream.. where I've been waken up for at least 3 times? and finally back to reality..
and today I'm having it as well.. this time I still remember in the movie, that they said you need to drop yourself in order to wake up from the dream, and I tried that, in my dreams, and I woke up from the don't know how many levels of dream, but still not waken, yet, to the real life.

think too much, perhaps..

Happy Birthday to Chai Liang!

small warning, if you guys are not interested with the stories you can just skip this post as this is going to be freaking long. ignore it as you please. =)

Preparation
it was a lovely Saturday where I slept till 1pm..hmm.haha.Well, today is Chai Liang's big day turning into 19.Lee San called me few times on the morning of Saturday as you know its free today. lol. cut the craps. was raining quite heavily over ah sok's and lee san's place, so we couldn't do anything but to wait. 5pm, lee san with ah sok reached my house and we were off to buy cake and choose present for Chai Liang. honestly, frankly, seriously speaking, (lol) it is really FREAKING HARD to choose present for boy la.haha.look at the way Lee San choose and the way ah sok and I struggling to find out what she actually have to buy.it took quite some time but not too long though for a present for boyfriend. =) then its hostel to fetch Tharma up. and we went to TBR to buy some food for the small party. actually, I would prefer this kind of celebration eventhough its small and kind of not "grand" but I love the feeling. =p call me weirdo I don't care.lol.

In the process
and then we back to Lee San's house and pity the poor Chai Liang being left by Lee San there for 2 hours.but then I can really see that Chai Liang is happy,or maybe a little, 'coz we went there to celebrate for him.hehe.that birthday boy said he wanted to eat pizza, so its my job to call the pizza up.lol. waited for less than 30 mins I guess and the party is started! =) its been ages that I didn't eat birthday cake, sing birthday song and have small party. its a memorable moment. Chit chat, eat, drink and keep calling other maxis users. haha. thats very very fun! lol.
oh and we called Hao Ting 'coz he didn't wish Chai Liang and guess what? lol. he said he wanna came all the way from Serdang to TBR. I knew he wasn't joking but still wanna make 101% sure. Lots more conversations with him and the others that I don't think its really necessary to write here. lot la.hehe. After that he said he don't know it was Chai Liang's birthday. There's lots more funny and happy moments that made us lol but I couldn't really recall. just that I know its fun. =p

End of celebration
then it was time for ah sok and Tharma to go back.while we were still thinking about the issue of me staying over there again.lol.quite struggle.but it was fine the end.they sent me back home first and we're back to Lee San's house with 4 people left, the couple, Hao Ting and I.back to take bear bear's car first.first time to see him driving.good skill =)

After party
of course there's after party 'coz for them its still early,10pm.lol.drag some time at Lee San's house and deciding,again,whether to go out again 'coz they said I look reluctant to go out.haha.I was having some mild headache 'coz I forgot my bottle and didn't drink water.lol.but still, it was still Chai Liang's birthday, and I can see that he really wanna enjoy it, so do the others, so of course I shouldn't turn this plan off just because of me.cut the craps. we went on calling everyone again haha.then, fetch my bro at his condo where he reluctant to come out but still he did. went to the pool above WCG infinity and the 8 pool cafe. but we chose to save our 5 years live. haha. went into WCG infinity but it was full. went into Steven's Corner but no one wanna layan us. lol. wasted almost 1 hour there but did nothing. very wth. its then time to decide again.lol. went to Amazone. they played CS and left 4 dead. bro and bear bear rule the games. haha but Lee San also very geng. =p it was 1.30am when we left CC. it was supposed to be yum cha session after it but bro wanna go back first, he seemed a little sick. sorry to drag you out =/

Midnight trip
sent bro home and Chai Liang decided to go oldtown.turn here and there a big round back to oldtown.we went in and sat down.and went out again.lol.I'm pretty sure we're weird.and its time to decide again.lol hate to decide seriously.suggested to go small genting or KL lookout point.thought of going there earlier where we stood at GK for that 1 hour.but none of us know the way.ok wasted quite some time again and by the time we finally decided to go there it was 2.30am.called and sms-ed friends to actually find out where it is located. Thank you so so much to Wei Yuan 'coz we called you at this time and wanted to go your house. really thanks. pretty cool to drive at MRR2 at this time.that fella is speeding at 120km/h like nobody business. normal speed.lol.for your information, we seriously have no idea where it is but roughly, da gai, agak-agak, then we're off there at this freaking hour.lol.very very crazy.reached the place and I think we got the wrong place..don't know why.maybe its too dark or what we can't really see the signboard and the winding road has no lamp at all.lol.very depending on the driving skill. but then the breathtaking scenery definitely worth it. and then we headed to another small genting which is at the residential area. swing-ed. went down and bear bear said he was hungry. regardless of what Chai Liang said we still insisted to go to McD. nice trip! hehe.

Back to house
4am when we reached her house. thought of having pillow talk but guess Chai Liang was too tired and straight away slept after that. 4.30am good night everyone. =)

very nice day ahead.
memorable.
enjoyable.
and unforgettable.

There's things that we can't do it everytime, nor we have the second chance to do so..grab the chance as you got it.

An Unforgettable Valentine's Day

Early in the morning for this lovely Valentine's Day,
we have Biology extra class at 9am.
But everyone seemed so not in the mood for the class especially for our gang, I guess.
hehe

As for me,
I thought of not going to Sunway Lagoon at the first place,
due to some factors, (which is not going to be discussed here)
but still,
when I saw the exciting face of Cally when I stepped into the DK,
my mind started to change.
haha so all thanks to Cally who convinced to go, or not I would definitely missed alot of fun.

Cut short what happened next after we ended Biology class.
I guess we wasted quite some time for some.. unnecessary things,
so we fasten our pace so that we could make it there before it started to be crowded.

suprisingly,
Sunway Lagoon wasn't as pack as I thought,
and I can say, its very few people compared to the usual weekends.

After parking the car,
after queuing up for tickets,
after settling ourselves down,
and.. yes Sunway Lagoon we are coming!

lol.

its been really long since my last visit to lagoon,
and that was during my very young age
where I don't dare to try those fun games over there.
so I'm so not gonna repeat this for this time.
and we played almost everything there.

from the water park to the dry park.
we basically didn't separate ourselves,
as we believe that this way is more fun,
although separating is a better way.

For some reasons,
I don't dare to swim actually,
but my adventerous personality brings me to the fun of it.
I enjoyed it most of the time in the very-chlorine-smell water.

oh and where's the fun if we don't do crazy things!
since its once in a while and God knows that when we are going there for the second time,
so we enjoyed to the max.
and the crazy thing were.. hmmmm..
I would suggest you to go over to Cally's blog as she has a very detailed description for it.
haha.

and thats super daring for 3 of us to do these.
Learn things la. XD

I actually forgot to take my breakfast before we went there
so I used up almost all my possible yielded ATP to play
and when we finally wanted to go back,
my legs were shivering,
where you know,
you can't control it.
you know its time for some food.

I would not dare to say the food we took were very delicious,
but that's more than enough in this very-fully-booked-situation.
and we had got some entertainment,
the waiter there can sings well in JJ's songs!

I eventually reached home at 11pm.

Since I'm single for like, since I was born?
so I don't really looking forward for celebration in Valentine's Day,
but they always turned out to be fun.
I still remembered years back I celebrated every 14th with my PBSM great friends.
those moments were memorable.
so do this one.
unforgettable one.
