the last A2 paper

I know I know..its TOO late to update about what I'm going to blog now and in the coming posts, but but.. its better than none right? haha!

Though I couldn't really recall what was I exactly wanted to blog initially.. however I will try my best

This date officially marks the last date of my A2 exam, the last paper that I was sitting is bio p5.
That paper was tough! To be frank, I never good in creativity, imaginative, and erm observation? and that's what bio p5 about. screw it. I never really cared (I wish I could, but I couldn't. don't have that in-born talent. nah! haha!)
So after that paper, I thought that our gang will have a big celebration or whatsoever, turned out they just went to Pizza Hut to have a real simple meal and headed to tick attendance at cc. and I, being the usual one who doesn't follow them to cc, headed back home by yh's car and had a real good rest. haha
practically what I did after that, I couldn't remember.. bah!

Last day of my A-level course, and taa-daa I have to say bye bye to this place that brings alot of memories to me.

been "invited" by my sis to help her friends out for their assignments, a group interview regarding sex appeal ads.
to be honest I have no idea about this before this. I mean, I don't have any particular thoughts on it nor I have done any research regarding ads before the interview so I just talk whatever I think spontaneously.
good thing is the interview is conducted at night at our dearest TARC..
10pm view of TARC is very different from morning's one. so quiet and cooling besides a lil hazy.
and that nights' moon is so round and so bright!!
its been don't know how long I've never seen moon. lol am not joking.
I was too excited and stunned to see that so I was keep shouting at my sis about this.lol
the interview was fun, filled with opinions but lack of interactions with each other..

As stated, that's the topic for my groups' biology assignment.
The 4 of us, Chai Liang, Lee San, Seow Yen and I had much time discussed which topic to be used at the first time, which kinda of delay our progression. from OPC antioxidant to egg in egg to transsexual to bird's nests to designer babies to whatever-else-things that you can think about when it come across Biotech or Genetech.. haha
and so tomorrow is the deadline, whereby today we finally decided to get it done.
we did research about these topics earlier so today's works is kinda more into compiling them.
4pm, we enetered the cubicle at CITC. came to realise that its very warm inside.
and the cubicle besides us is another group of Indian girls from our DK doing the same project as well.
without much hesitation, we started our works.
Discussed which topics to be used. whereby Chai Liang came out with the idea of combination of 3 topics. kind of creative right? hehe
Discussed how to start off with the brochure. and we chose the "story-based" to make it more interesting.
Discussed how to resentence all the words and stuff. and I'm the storry-teller. lol.
I then moved to another cubicle when it was empty, and start my story-writing and when I'm done, I will turn the monitor and let Seow Yen copied whatever story I wrote into the Microsoft Publisher. this is fun! haha.

and when the cubicle was about to close, we shifted our discussion to the lab out there.
continued with what we did.
but this time we didn't google that much, because Chai Liang-the-professor was there applying what he learnt before into this topic. kind of brilliant. =p
oh oh and I played one sniper-kind-of game with Lee San. haha kill times while Chai Liang was figuring his rDNA technology procedures.

at about 8pm. we came to the end part of the discussion whereby I virtually forced Chai Liang to write report. haha but you can never deny his ideas. he has like tonnes of ideas, even with report-writing.
well then Tharma came to find us and 3 of them went to TBR to have their dinner.
and I head my way to bus stop.

I had fun while doing the assignment. though I do not like the situation where there's always dilemma into choosing which topic and stuff but its hell fun when everything get started. and its to do with bio =) you'll never know how fun it is to work with them. energetic throughout the working duration and never tired of finding more info. the feeling is plain great. =)=)

Journal of the day:
4.30am: sleep
7.20am: woke up
8am-12pm: Classes and App Math test 6. (arrrrghhhh. =.=)
12pm-1pm: Squash with Jing Yee. Jia Xian, Yuen Zhen, Lee San and Shu Ying were at the court besides us.
1pm-3pm: CITC, headache-ing + starving (sign of "take-your-meal-now")
3pm-4pm: Canteen 1. CL, LS, SY and JX were there as well. while eating, discuss as well.
4pm-8pm: CITC.
8pm-8.30pm: on the way back home
8.30pm-10.15pm: sleep

I have this bad habit where, if I'm concentrating with my studies/work, I will never bother about the noise made in my stomach. lalala~~ so though I feel headache and hungry, I will ignore it and continue with my work. yes, workaholic. lol

and now here I am, still editing the brochure and the report, and my dear blog. hehe.
having headache now..zz don't know what's wrong.

Thursday 7.5.09

slept at 4am.woke up tiringly,almost half sleeping all the way to college.Pure Maths lecture isn't teaching, so I slept, but felt abit too cold and can't sleep,apparently. Ah Sok kept ask me to wake up and study.. don't want to let me sleep lor. then its Physics tutorial, and Applied Maths tutorial. and today got mood to do some Physics-like question. lol. I asked alot I know. =/ too stupid. thats why can't take Physics. after some considering, the 5 of us-Chai Liang, Lee San, Benjamin, Ah Sok and I decided to go to McDonald. so its JJ or MU? lol. haha. up to the driver then =) had some nice and funny moments with them.lol. though sometimes we did have so-called "arguement".
Ah Sok been influenced by me,lol, and out of a sudden asked me to have McFlurry with her. why not? tell me why not?! haha. okok pai seh too high already..

so we skipped Biology tutorial, as we already knew that we wouldn't be able to rush back. Listened to some WOW clips in Physics lecture. I don't even think Chai Liang and Ah Sok can concentrate as the 4 of us keep have chatters around.lol. not even in the study mood. Chemistry lecture.. definitely in the sleepy mood, almost 4 of us. Applied Maths, left me, the others went back..

went to library and studied at the discussion room..our group was..very noisy. lol. really. XD
they were having all sorts of topic over there.haha. though its kinda noisy, but still I can still study. oh ya, some SN9J friends were there as well. lol. suddenly Ryan shouted "who's Siew Lee?" haha.

didn't know library was having some renovation so it was freaking warm outside the discussion room. and they're closing at 7pm because its holiday? idk. just feel kinda weird. anyway, we continued our "study section" to Cannes Tea House, where we've been here, in a whole big group last year. well we did study. at least I did some question though I were kinda tired. Yoon Hung, I gonna kill you.lol.

Remarkable end of April

Classes were as usual.Except for the fact that we went out to McD at 1pm, the peak period and got ourselves into a crowded shop. No, I didn't have my meal there, neither my McFlurry, 'coz my Ah Sok actually forced me to have Nasi Lemak and ice cream with her which I reluctant to do so but still can't beat her. lol. and yea,we were late for Chemistry lecture for 20 mins.

then it was Applied Maths lecture.I have to admit that, I didn't listen to what teacher were teaching or I don't get what she was trying to say. anyway, doesn't make any difference. Jian Shen and Hao Ting were making havoc. lol. seriously, the whole clan at the right column, which is the SN9G gang were too noisy, I mean, the one at the top seats.

Seriously I do angry abit, but not the matter that you think. think a little more.

we basically were studying, except for some talks or laughs. but but..lol, when it was around 7.30pm, the 3 girls suddenly went online and the others follow.wtf right? haha. ok back to studies after that. but being distracted from some stuff. "stuff".haha. WHO IS THE ONE WHO STARTED TO TAKE PICTURES,MR.LAM JIAN SHEN! abit too gek.lol

so everyone, except for Yoon Hung and Hui Joo, whom were still doing Maths, started taking pictures around until we were about to leave, at 9pm, the time where library has no one else besides us. very gay. =p

Being invited to Abby's house as Indians are having their new year..
Along with Lee San, Chai Liang, Yuin Yee, Tharma and Benjamin in 2 cars..
Have the very first time home cook Indian food, and very first time using hand to eat.
good experience =)
oh.. first time to play with dog as well..
many first times.XD
Mandy, the female dog in her house. She was real fierce at first, and wanted to stab on Yuin Yee's hand. omg.
but later on she was nice and fun to play with. I slowly get the courage to play with the dog when Yuin Yee was playing. Apparently, the dog loves her. =p
the dog very cute, seriously. she knows how to manja one. lol. or all dog does that? I don't know.
I'm random. ignore me. =p
We went back at 7.30pm..

the gang went for badminton at the court which Seow Yen and I booked earlier. from 3pm to 5pm.. The girls weren't playing, just observing and hang around. It was freaking warm inside the court, for your information. went back and have my yam cha session with sister. two roti telur and a cup of teh tarik. The roti telur sucks! lol. then I became very full and just had my dinner like...1 hour ago. its now 12.46am for ur information =p ok I'm random again.

Long one

I slept at almost 4am on Wednesday morning,
the day where I have the trial trial of Biology.
and we planned to have volleyball after our class.
and so I thought I'm really gonna handle it with insufficient of sleep. haha.

Everything goes well until Biology practical but out of a sudden it was raining. We thought we will call it off and make it for the other day but we still decided to wait and see. God blessed us, after our last class, Chemistry lecture, though it wasn't shiny hot weather, but still, we are able to have that play.

We have our play with our gang, of course, and 2 unknown people which joined us..er..I shall call it suprisingly.
Participants: Wooi Liang, Jordan, Keith, Tharma, Jian Shen, Yoon Hung, Hao Ting, Wooi Liam, Ching Jia, Hui Ru, Yuin Yee, Abby, Cally and I.
Wei Chie, Shu Ying and 2 unknown people joined us for a while as well.

Most of us are the first time to come across with volleyball except for our "coach",Cally, which Chai Liang said she looks like one, and so we took more than 1 hour (I think) to just warm up. And by the time we were all in the spirit to really have a game, it started to rain again. good thing was, a small match held before the rain struck us, 11-7, my team won. haha. and you wouldn't really wanna know how we actually play the game.
but who cares, it was fun! hehe.
Apart from the not-knowing-how-to-play thingy, we actually have lots more fun parts. I couldn't really recall every single part of it. but overall its just fun. (I really don't know how else I can describe. haha)
You guys should really actually see how Wooi Liang serve the ball by saying "Who's next?"

We separated after that and I joined my sister with her friends along to 4 Happy Season.

As the name suggested, this is the 4 seasons concept restaurant. We bravely went and chose winter despite the fact that it was actually raining. We were like who-cares-I-just-want-to-go-into-winter. haha. The place is so photogenic itself and there's no reason that you don't take out your camera or phone to take a snap shot.

My pictures are still in my phone and I'm lazy to upload it, so later ya. =p

Unexpectedly it was freezing inside and we have to borrow the sweater from them in case you don't have to use hammer and defrost me. lol. so we sat there and chit chat and waited like 1 hour before I made my order as they were still waiting for their other friends arrival. I couldn't wait more or not I can faint there. The food was okay, I would say, but definitely not for my seafood spagethi. what a bad impression for me on my first try for seafood spagethi instead of the normal chicken one that I would go for. sigh. too bad.

After the meal and stuff, we walked back home and I reached home around 8pm. I was really exhausted, though I don't think I move alot for the volleyball, but with all the factors sum up, I still felt tired.

and people, guess what, I slept at 9+ pm yesterday. yes! I slept, amazingly. haha. It was the first and ever that I would go and sleep at that time you know. 9pm normally its just oh-I-just-woke-up-from-my-nap thingy. but but.. I speechless. haha. so ya, I slept nicely from 9 to 6. and I felt aching in my bone where I ter-slide the ball while playing and not enough of stretching.

I thought it was a right choice of mine to sleep so early as I have 8-4 class on Thursday, which is today.Today I was kinda alert and yes, today is the birthday for 3 friends of mine.

I don't have any study-feel today as.. the classes were too "free". I was copying the notes while chatting with Seow Yen at Pure Maths lecture. I was talking to Lee San while having Applied Maths tutorial as the teacher wasn't teaching. lol. if continue to be like this, really no exam mood. no no. gotta make myself into the mood.

Out of a sudden, Mr. Low came into our class and announce something which was actually asking the "special class" as what he said, to go to Sports Complex during 11am, which he claimed to say that we don't have class that time, so asked us to support for the launching of the TARC Open Day. We are supposed to have our lunch break of course we don't have class during that period. =.= We went, and with all the journey to Sports Complex under such weather, its really killling. As expected, we went there and did nothing, or you can say we serve no purpose but to make the hall more filing as Dato' Ong Kah Ting was giving his speech. I think Cally and Abby pranked by Fly Fm right before we reached. hehe.

Since we got nothing to do there and so went off to Canteen 3, supposingly called as Cafetaria to have our lunch. Crowded as usual. Saw many SSSH friends there. Roti Telur doubled, thanks to someone. and Lee San and Seow Yen bullied me! how can. T.T

We were late for Biology tutorial class, but it was still okay. As I said earlier, the whole day don't have the study-feel. We were discussing the questions halfway, but suddenly talk about DNA of plants and human, eukaryotes I mean. There it goes, Physics lecture next.

Cally, Lee San and I went in to Physics lecture to make havoc. haha. Okay, not Lee San, 'coz she was sitting at the other column. I was supposed to have my so-called nap there but because someone asked me to shut up and don't go into Physics class and so I decided to make some noise there. haha. Since today is CK's birthday (it is still now) so he won't be charge for calling to maxis number for one day. So he really use this thing kau kau. He first called Seow Yen while we were on our way back to Biology tutorial class earlier, and I asked him why he never call me and called Seow Yen instead. He said because of the name arrangement. I told him " Ah-ma you also never respect huh? You 重色轻友 ah! ". lol. and so he decided to call me while he was in Physics class.

You guys must catch me for saying this. He was in Physics class while he made the phone call to me.
CK:"Eh you know you very noisy or not..?!" (in Cantonese)
SL:"hahahhahahahahhaha...." (basically can't stop laughing)
Cally:"Harlow.. Siew Lee ah.."
SL:"yes yes..hahahaha.."(still can't stop laughing)

and we just can't stop laughing.

Thogh I think we really made alot of noise but that doesn't stop us from further full using of the benefit! haha. I asked for "again" from CK. and this time its Jian Shen turn. I think he was somewhere over the rainbow since he look kinda not in the situation though the whole bunch of us knew what was actually going on.

So Cally passed the phone to Hao Ting and Hao Ting scolded something before passing the phone to Jian Shen. (damn you Hao Ting. hahaha.)
I think Cally told something to Jian Shen before passing it to him.

SL:"Study study.. "
JS:"!@$...."(don't know what he mumbles..)
SL:"Study physics.. physics..study~!" (I was still laughing though Abby told me JS know nothing about this)

Basically I think he's the only one who didn't know what was going on so we were laughing all the way. and there goes the Physics class.

Chemistry lecture and Applied Maths lecture were another "free" classes. I thought I can gater some study mood for Chemistry lecture but today was only about acidity. Well, its fine. I have tennis with Tharma and the gang. Though my bone is still pain but i don't care, just go only. XD

Basically Lee San and I don't really play since we don't know and so we went to the corner and "practise" ourselves. Tennis was fun! really fun. But you guys please la, don't hit the ball like badminton can or not! The ball also quite expensive one leh. Pity Tharma.
and and Hao Ting hit the ball and aimed my sister and taaa-daaa, got hit by the ball. not me of course. or not I will chase the whole court with the raquet and hit him. XD
So ya, short play with them but its still fun.

I still wonder how my hand will turn like tomorrow.

What a sporty week. hehe.

What a long post!
I kept thinking "when is this going to end.. when~ tell me when.." and I kept writing.. =p
and since you guys kept saying how come I write such short short post and nah! this long enough or not~ XD


p.s: I can't really remember single details of volleyball play but still enjoyed. waiting for the next play. =p

Just wanna make this really short.

Got back my GP papers, still ok la.
After class and stuff,
went to gym again,
but this time with Seow Yen.

At first I thought the place will be crowded as diploma students are back,
but I was wrong, 'coz.. its the first day la. people won't go there.
haha.
but badminton courts were all full.

Having gym with Seow Yen was unexpectedly fun
she was making fun all the way
and trying to teach me some new way to slim my body
and make sure I did what she taught
so funny

and she make me a ride home as well.

Friday

"We are fine, but WE aren't."

It was rather a suprise that Friday was a sweltering day,
though recently the weather changes like how woman changes clothes. =p

Chemistry practical today was about to test the organic compound containing in 4 solutions.
The testing for hydrogen gas presence is rather fun,
'coz it was the very first time to hear the "pop" sound coming out,
where I usually know this in theory, not through experiment.

Testing for aldehyde is very satisfying
where I got silver mirror formed.
very nice thingy in the test tube.
hehe

Headed to Sports Complex again,
for gym.
Met Melvin there and have a small talk while waiting for my sister.
Quiet and solitary moment at gym.
but I enjoyed. =)

A very quick one,
but ultimately satisfying.
Sat at canteen 2 for some rest,
and headed to basketball court to find my fellow friends.

but they look so much into it.

Monday, can be considered the less-stress day of the week, 'coz I still didn't feel the stress yet on that day,eventhough the next day is the exam. >.<
Went back college for Bio extra class for 2 hours, 9-11am.
Left Yoon Hung, me, Terry, Matthew and Melvin to study.
As what I written in the previous post, seriously didn't feel any tension yet, for Monday. XD

Tuesday, after being too selamba, I think I really screwed up my Pure Maths. >.<
Slept at 4am in the morning and woke up at 6.30am. 8.30am is the GP exam and Pure Maths at 11.45am. Insufficient sleep leads me to not alert mind. Despite some trigonometry questions which I don't know.

Wednesday, I dropped Physics so it's the day for me to study. Nah, I doubt I ever put anything that I studied into my mind. >.<. Study together with those that are going to take their Physics test. =p Wanted to go back at 3.30pm but sudden heavy rain and forced to stay at library. Headed to Canteen 2 to have my lunch together with Yoon Hung and those that just finished their Physics test. Sorry Jian Shen, shoot you again. XD You don't shoot me, I don't shoot you, deal? =p

Wednesday night, after the lesson learnt on Monday, I decided to really study, but eventually the adrenaline was secreted at an amount which I can't handle. wth. haha. Basically it means that I go kinda crazy and all that I was studying get mixed up. So, I relax myself, by playing "Rock, Scissors, Papers" with my sis on msn. Supposingly it's not a game that can make you laugh, instead, it's boring. But all thanks to my sis, who is truly a joker(hahaha), made me shouted, screamed and laughed. Thanks for your encouragement as well. =) When I was finally ready, it's almost 11pm or 12am already. Studied for awhile and went off to bed at 2am. Wei Yuan somemore asked me "finish studying already?". But I really don't want my mind goes blank.

Thursday, went to college at 7.30am, eventhough exam starting at 12.30pm. Studied alone for those chapters or subtopics that I haven't touch or fully covered. Get scolded because we were making noise. Exam ended at 1.30pm. Bio paper was quite okay, I think la. But many of them said it was quite tough. Pray hard that what I wrote for my answers were correct. =p

Thursday night, get myself ready for Chemistry and Applied Maths, the last 2 papers for Test 3. Then Im OFF!! wahahahah. Too bad that I actually have headache when I was revising/doing my Applied Maths. Permutations and Combinations + Probability= BIG headache. haha. Spent quite some hours doing those questions. This is the results of not studying, last minute preparation. >.<
Only started Chemistry at 2am, which I don't know why. Headache still doesn't goes off. Slept at 3am.
Don't study too hard until don't want sleep...>.<

Friday, headed straight to college hall at 7.30am. Sit on table and this time only STARTED to memorise all those organic chemistry thingy. Reagents, conditions, types of reactions.. bla bla bla. I know Im crazy. But kinda relief after Chemistry paper, 9.45am. At least I still can do, eventhough I really have NO idea AT ALL for Equilibria. I "forgot" the existence of this topic. haha. >.<
Again.. pray hard that my answers were correct. Take a deep breath and relax for few minutes before start preparing for the last paper of the day, last 1 hour for the test, and last moment in College Hall!! =p I seriously scare that I will forgot what I studied due to insuffiecient sleeping, that's why must relax abit. haha. Have a kit kat, have a break. But I don't have kit kat at that moment. lol. Everyone studied for the very last minute for our final paper. Chai Liang almost go too stress 'coz he seemed like mixing everything up. hehe.

No more 2am/3am/4am/no sleep..
No more Bio, Chem, Maths, GP.. for the moment..
No more "GP come out what ah"
No more "eh you know how to do the trigonometry questions..?"
No more "...." (Sorry I don't know about Physics. =p)
No more "How does the waves of excitation transmits in heart?"
No more "Draw the repeating untis of poly(propene)"
No more "Find the number of ways for 13 passengers to be seated on 17 seats" (wtf I hate this question)

Everyone was so so so happy and showed the sign of relief. =)

and it marks the end of the first sem for my A-level.

I would actually like to tell you guys that, on last Thursday, MM, Wei Chie, CK and I went to JJ right?

As usual we chit chat alot at McDonald's.
Since.. we were eating. Obviously we were discussing food.

We talked about food that we don't eat.
Not to suprise them, but I really never eat Laksa or Tom Yam before. >.<>

What the hell am I doing here?

Im still slacking around.. not studying.. not revising.
I can't feel that stress level, and.. why is my adrenaline not secreting?? wtf lor.
I need some adrenaline rush. I need some kind of pressure.
Im still that selamba here.
Open that notes but like staring at it. Not sure whether they stick to my mind or not..

I just hope I can do well in test 3, neither to hope that it will be better than test 2. 'coz at least I got study during test 2.


I was having slight headache + dizziness. I don't know whether it is because I didn't eat.
I just ate bread for my lunch. I felt kinda bad.


But.. it's like getting better after I ate some food after I reached home.=p

Luckily.. 'coz I plan to study whole night today. hehe.


Another problem comes.. I scare I will fall asleep later >.<

Thursday was like.. no mood to study at all. So 4 of us, didn't go for Bio tutorial and Chemistry practical for the first time. =D
444. Score achieved by Wei Chie. First try.


He wanted to get 500 marks. So he give that a second try.
453. not bad la. It's super tiring. =p
Then we played "photo hunt" at there as well.
4 of us were playing. It's quite fun but your eyes will go like this--> @_@
We got 200,000++ marks if Im not mistaken. The highest mark achieved was by "UTAR Biotech" with 400,000++ marks.

We ponteng for our GP. The first time for me. =p
Chit chat at there. Shared alot of fun stuff over there.
Not to mention, they were teasing Yoon Hung and I for eating alot. XD

We just shared our fun moments at Pizza Hut, and when we come to realize it, it's already the last day for the sem, and then we have to seperate lectures with class H,I and J for the next semester.
Mei Mei said, she's really going to miss them. Terry ah... Ryan ah... and others who bring fun and joy to us.

Separating lectures is a good thing as in, there's only 3 classes for one DK and we can concentrate more. But, it will be very boring then.
Well.. just have to accept it.

Nothing much happened last week. Just like usual college life should be.

On Monday, we went to JJ during our 3 hours break.But later found out that our last class, GP was canceled as well. All of them were SUPER excited. I mean, really excited about this. Somehow we went to the archade, and they were playing there (excluding Mei Mei and I). We saw Maggie and the gang there as well. haha. They joined us at archade. Mei Mei, my bro, Wei Yuan, Yoon Hung and I went back to college for Bio extra class. Yoon Hung drove me back. Thanks. =)

And..

as usual, I don't really remember what happened for the whole week. What I know is that, I wasn't really in the mood to study for the whole week. And. wth. Exams are coming. Haihz. Beat myself up.
