Well I think I did stated before that I was keen on job hunting and if there's a chance I will grab it to work. I don't know its for me to purely earn extra money or I wanted to fill my life so that its not that much of resting and slacking. To be exact, this is the time that I'm truly resting, currently unemployed. =)
So, I got this short-term must-do for everyday, job hunting even I'm just awake. To my surprise, I got this job pretty easy as they urgently need people for only 1 week, just data entry. It was early in the morning (25/11/2009) that I found this post on forum, I remember replying it(the post) asap after I saw that. And my instinct told me I should give her a call or sms. I did, no reply. She was on a meeting or whatsoever it is. I don't like the person in charge, she's lack of some simple manners, in greeting people or answering question. I know I'm the one that's supposed to act nice but please, don't act bs, I don't really mind getting another job. But of course I wouldn't do so as the pay was rm7/per hour and for the sake of 1 week. I just bare with it. Oh did I mention that she totally didn't act like its an urgent matter oppose to what she wrote in the post.
Luckily I get another place for my sis as well, or not I would need to survive in that place till I yawn for n times.
Its very soon that the next day we're required to go to work. No interviews. No typing speed test. The company was JobsDB. funny huh? I'm working in a company that is looking for job for candidates. haha!
I could barely remember the scenario when I first entered that company. As usual, simply greeting to the person in reception. note, at that time there's no receptionist there despite its working hour.It was some random worker there and asked us who were we looking for.
The question came, WHO WAS SHE? damn. she didn't even tell us her name though I know its our part to get info. luckily I did remember her user name in the forum. phew luckily it wasn't some fancy name like starcraft, l4d, pinkylady, meow, and etc. or else I really don't know how.
We were being "invited" into a..... room. Somehow like an interview room. small. empty. a table with a cable phone. duh! looks like someone is going to interview us I presume.
In fact, not. nothing at all. We were there in the room just to wait for the lady to settle things down.
I wasn't complaining.. Ok, I am. I don't like her. haha.
bla bla bla tick tock tick tock.. time flies.
Our job: just to key in candidate's data into the system
SIMPLE. EASY.
and
boring.

It was a smart idea to tag my sis along with me. As we enter the data of different candidates, sometimes we do encounter some funny stuff to share. like seriously alot. haha.
but the job is
TIRING
just the shoulder part. Although we do type very fast, and you might think we should get things done faster, it is, but that's the con. Severe muscleache we encounter..
and one more thing..
that office is COLD. SUPER. I became penguin. xD
to my surprise, almost all of them in the office, speak in Mandarin.

its awkward there if you talk in English.
there's another temp staff that joined us after few days I think.. a guy.from local university.couldn't remember so much details la. he is seriously.. weird. I mean, he look innocent, but as I always practise, do not judge a book by its cover. He is that type of person that you need to talk carefully. As far as I know. As what Adrian said, how do we not judge a book by it's cover. if the book itself chooses and presents itself to be seen in that manner, in that cover. and sooner that I realise that, he types slow, utterly slow, but I do not understand how he could finish the stack of data same speed as us or sometimes even faster.
There comes the trick. he's SMART. damn. I mean, you know how, he types in certain "format" of certain column that people usually writes, and then, COPY AND PASTE. damn. for me this is cheating. even its just a temp job, but please, responsibility. duh. from that on, I do not even bother to talk to him. haha.
The company is situated in Wisma UOA building near KL convention centre (not the bangsar one). Supposingly, to settle our lunches shouldn't be of big problem, but often, we do not know where and what to eat. As we only know KLCC has more eatery, and another problem comes, there's at least 10mins to get there and get a seat. not till the part that you order food and finally start eating. So most of the time our lunches become very rush and sometimes we just bring our own food there to eat.
To get to know the people there more, communicate with them, is hard. They hmm either is too busy or just don't bother to talk, except Mr. Chuah, nice guy that we met there and helped us alot when the lady in charge doesn't bother much. They talk to themselves, only, and maybe the computer. haha.
There's this afternoon, Mr.Chuah offer us to have lunch with him and the lady in charge, together with some from other department.
That experience has nothing to talk about. We practically just follow them, as in really follow to eat and pay the bill and get your butt back to your working seat. They have their own talk, we don't join, and wouldn't want to join, except certain part did they just ask abit about us. bah. Expected.
As we cannot change that fact, my sis and I just enjoyed anything ourselves. Who cares. haha!

ITEX Exhibition, 9th- 11st May 2008

This is my very very first time wearing blazer in working at exhibition.

Okay la, the first day almost late 'coz of the train, which you guys know will be DAMN pack and you can't even get in even it's just 8am.

I have no much to talk, but you do meet alot of weirdos. haha.

Before that, I would like to tell you how the registration process goes.

1st, if you are a student, you don't have to register. The pretty ushers there will give you a sticker and you can just go in. (why must bold it? hehe. you know I know la.)

2nd, you have to register, to get a tag/ pass to go in. But if you are in group or followed with family members, just one representative is required to register.

Understand? XD

There's people like, from the face you see him/her like adults working, but when I approach them and ask " Do you have business card with you? " or " Are you working? " then hor, they will answer you " No, Im a student."

Immediately you will see Siew Lee's face got this expression--> =.='''

Then hor, some people you see their face macam student or like young young punya face, I ask " Are you student or working?" You can see that, they immediately answer you " No, Im working."

Deng. Want praise you look like young also cannot meh.

Some people very yeng one, they will come and ask you, "Can I just get sticker and go in without registering?" Can.. ur head.XD

Some people more geng, you see they bring wife bring child hor, they can still come and tell you " Im student", means want get sticker from you la.

Walau, then your wife is your classmate and your child is your junior eh ? XD

Some fella very lazy one, somemore ask you to fill up the form for you.

And.. please la.. the handwriting hor, can make it nicer abit ah?
Some really not readable one. You think doing artwork meh. Pity those typists only. XD

So.. from this exhibition, I know that, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" XD. jkjk.

This exhibition is quite fun, for me. I mean the booths and the things that they are showing. Well, but my sisters don't seem to like it. If you have a chance, try visit the ITEX'09.

Last day at Bursary, 6th of May 2008

Since.. since.. since... the internet is so slow and I need some time to load my drama, so I come here and update my blog first. XD ( *piak piak* slap you! people wait your blog till neck also long, now only come to update..)


Sorry sorry loh. I have very less time to enjoy now before I start my college, so please let me enjoy kau kau first la !



Ehem! Perasan again...


When I went for my interview at Bursary Receipt and Payment Department, I once told my boss...

" I might be working until June or something like that..." Me


" What course are you going to take?" My boss


" A levels" Me


" Oh, you are not going to study at TARC?" My boss


"Hmm... still considering" Me



..............




Ok, so cut the craps, I supposingly to work until June, but, due to I had chosen to study at TARC, so I will start my college at 12th of May, and 6th of May is my last day.



I promised my colleagues to work until the last Saturday, 10th of May, but, due to some reason also, I had decided to work until 6th of May.



The story.


My sister told me about the ITEX exhibition and we are going to work there.
So, my sister asked to work until Wednesday and there'll be a briefing on Thursday.


My mom asked me to take leave on Tuesday, because she wanted me to go bank with her to settle my tuition fees payment.


I went and told my boss that my last day would be 6th of May but I would like to take leave on Tuesday. Luckily my boss was kind enough, she approved my leave.


After that, I told my mum to give me cash and pay at Bursary straight, no need purposely take one day leave to pay at Public Bank. (Im the only one to exclusive paying cash at Bursary, those who reading my blog and you are TARCian as well, don't try to do this okay! hehe.)


So, I told my colleagues that I canceled my off, they show happy face but immediately after that, their faces are all sour 'coz I told them my last day would be Tuesday. And, Im only telling this the day before my last day.


They actually, don't really want me to leave so fast, but, since I have decided, they also can't do anything. I know, the reason is just because, I can help them to do filing and take care of the counter, nothing else. But still I feel happy that they actually care when I said I am going to resign earlier. 虽然要我留下是想要我帮他们做东西，但这也证明了我还有利用的价值。


Miss Tan kept nagging me and saying me that I " no heart " liao, wanna resign and all things cannot do well.
Where got! I always that blur, she purposely saying like that.


Miss Tan asked me, "Why you wanna resign so early? I thought you gonna work until 10th of May ?"


" I wanna enjoy abit mah..."


" No need enjoy one la... haha. If like this then you will rugi 4 days salary lo" Miss Tan


"Haiyoh.. 你也年轻过嘛，现在不玩要等几时啊。钱可以慢慢赚，有些东西失去了就没有了的。" Miss Chong


I definitely agree with what Miss Chong said.
If you don't have money now, you can earn in the future.
But if you miss your 青春, you can't take it back later.

PIKOM PC Fair, 2008

Okay okay, Im writing my new post now. Stop nagging.

I scare my friends will come and complain to me that, why am I keep asking them to update their blog but I didn't do that. But the thing is, they didn't do this to me, is just that, the world taught me to be abit perasan, just abit. haha!

So, it's the PIKOM PC Fair. And as usual, it's my sis and I.

I was supposed to buy a laptop, mp3, pen drive and webcam.

However, the laptop which supposed to be "present" to study at Taylor's turn out to be a "dream" in my heart.

MP3 which I supposed to buy, but I didn't, 'coz I didn't bring enough money. XD

But I bought a 4GB Kingston pen drive and a cheap palak webcam. haha.

At first I thought my pen drive is quite nice, but after viewing Joshua's blog, only I know what's considered a nice one. envy la.

My pc usb cable damn longgar. HAIHZ!

Then, went dinner at Kim Gary with Zheng Xiang's family.

His mother is so funny. Zheng Xiang seems to be very close to his mom.

Even though his mother wanted to send us back, but we rejected her kindness.

Hang around then went to 4th floor food court and..

Write my papa's birthday card there!

And... take pictures!

End...



Everything is alright at my working place. My colleagues are nice. The work loads are lot.

Yeah. Finally I'm at the counter. Haha. too excited to learn new things.

But, yeah, Im still the careless me.

Sometimes typing error, sometimes give wrong receipt, sometimes key wrong amount..

Aiyoh!

Biasa la.

I'm always blur blur one. XD

"No la. Just resigned."



For your information, I resigned from my last job for more than 1 month already.




What I did within this period?




Good question.




I wake up every afternoon (not morning), read newspaper, eat, watch tv, bath, eat, watch tv, online and sleep again.




You did it for the past 1 month?




Yeah. =(




So now, I am working at TARC as a temporary assistant.

1st, I want to earn money. $$
2nd, I want to experience how office work should be.
3rd, I really got nothing to do.




So, don't be so suprise that you see me at TARC.




How's work?




Cool.




Imagine you keep stamping the postal order and verification card for 1000++.




And




Keying data into the computer for 1000++ students.




You will get so tired because these 2 simple tasks.



Especially your right shoulder and right arm.



Only one side of my hand muscles getting so pain.



I asked to my colleague, "Why this batch got so many students?"



"If not how to pay you, and that's the reason you are here. :D"



Cool.



April fool. duh. Im not used to fool people around.
